Spain - Costa Almeria to Costa Calida

We parked at the camping area and set off for a walk along Rodalquilar Beach and around the rocky headland (top left). It is not like National Parks in Australia where nobody operates a business or lives in the park. Here it just means that you must conform to certain rules of use within the park boundaries. Someone seems to live here in the old fortifications, Battery of San Ramon, which they have renovated and added to (top right). They have to allow access to the surrounding areas though. The limestone rocks have really interesting patterns (bottom left) and in one area they have been shaped (many years ago) to form a boat launching ramp (bottom right).
